Arsenal Release 7 Players, Including Almunia

LONDON, KOMPAS.com - A total of seven players, including goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, Arsenal will leave when their contract runs out, June 30. They are Manuel Almunia, George Brislen-Hall, Gavin Hoyte, Sean McDermott, Rhys Murphy, James Campbell, and Jeffrey Monakana on July 1.

Of the seven players, two players who have played for the team, which Almunia and Hoyte. Almunia has played a total of 175 times since for the first team since imported from Celta Vigo in July 2004, with 70 clean sheets.

While at Arsenal, Almunia appeared in the Champions League final of 2006 and 109 times in the Premier League.

For Gavin Hoyte, he marked his debut with the first team in the Carling Cup match against Sheffield United, in September 2008. Total he played for the first team four times.
