Clashes in the Mississippi prison, a guard killed



Washington DC: The clashes that occurred in a prison in Adams County in the southern states of the United States, Mississippi, killing a guard. Local media also reported that 19 others suffered injuries from the clashes.


As reported by Xinhua on Tuesday (22/5), a guard were killed by beatings of detainees. Meanwhile, the warden at least five people were reportedly injured in prison riot in 2567 which has a facility bed.

Provisional estimates, gang activity is believed to be the cause of the riot involving about 300 inmates. Most gang members are men who become illegal immigrants.




Anti-riot police and prison guards had used tear gas to control the situation. Pascabentrokan, the prisoners were locked in their cells and not allowed out.

Yet supervisors custody of Corrections Corp. of America said that the public not to worry. Because the incident did not pose a threat to public safety. (IAN / TNT)
