At Taxi driver, manager in Singapore Jailed 5 Months

On arrival at the destination, they go straight away without paying a taxi fare of 15 Singapore dollars. Feeling the passengers have not paid, Hong also called the two. But Andrew is drunk just get angry and become aggressive. Fortunately Andrew then willing to pay the taxi fare is used. Hong went back to his cab.

But suddenly, Andrew and his friend approached Hong. Needless to say, Andrew jumped on the hood of the cab's Hong. Andrew also acts memimbulkan loss of 300 Singapore dollars. Then he hit Hong in the stomach and kicked him in the knee. Hong then rushed to Changi Hospital and treated there. He was diagnosed with brittle knee and spinal injuries.

In his defense, lawyer Andrew said his clients are under the influence of alcohol during the incident. He also said that Andrew has apologized directly to Hong. He also has to pay compensation amounting to 771 Singapore dollars.

But the judge still declared guilty and sentenced Andrew 5 months in prison. It is known that the maximum penalty for assault is one year imprisonment and a fine. As for the act of intentionally injuring another person, under sentence of a maximum of 2 years imprisonment and a fine of five thousand Singapore dollars.
